Publicist, Marketing Assistant, and Producer

Alison Cohen is a high school senior theater major based in Toronto, Canada, (though she considers New York City her home away from home). She is thrilled to serve as the publicist, marketing assistant, and producer for the upcoming Olivia O productions in Toronto (2026 Fringe Festival) and New York (date TBA)  and is deeply honoured to join this team and help shine a light on important stories told through theater. She is especially grateful to Diane and Jessica for welcoming her into this meaningful project.

Alison is the host and creator of The Inspiration Show Podcast, a virtual interview series spotlighting artists who have inspired her. She has now hosted over 100 episodes featuring Broadway and television professionals whose journeys continue to shape her own. She created, directed, produced, and wrote The Journey of Inspiration Through Theater at The Green Room 42, a show about her creative journey. Sharing the stage with Broadway performers who had been guests on her podcast was a full-circle moment that deepened her love of theater even more.

Alison values theater that reflects real-life issues, sparks meaningful conversations, and inspires change. Being bit by the theater bug has been the greatest gift of her life. Theater is not just her passion; it’s her purpose. It has given her community, creativity, and courage.

Inspired by the idea of “who lives, who dies, who tells your story,” Alison is honoured to help uplift the powerful voices and themes at the heart of Olivia O. She is committed to supporting work that amplifies meaningful stories, fosters understanding, and sparks change.

Being part of this production marks an exciting new chapter in her lifelong journey of helping bring impactful narratives to the stage.
