Diane and Jessica have written a beautiful, unique, moving and important musical called OLIVIA O.
As a Broadway veteran and teacher of songwriting for many years, I can enthusiastically recommend their engrossing story and fabulous melodies in this exquisite musical.
You will embrace and be heartwarmed by their lead characters -- something so rarely found in a musical.
Bob Garrett
Acclaimed Broadway singer, songwriter and vocal coach for multiple shows, including "Lucky You," "Phantom of the Opera", "Me and My Shadows: Life with Judy Garland", "FAME." and Broadway's smash "THE COLOR PURPLE".
The powerful and emotional story is matched by incredible music.
Michael Creber
Juno-award winning keyboardist, composer and Grammy-nominated producer.
Such good work. The lyrics, the story all come together. I read it and was immediately struck by how strong it was. It lit a fire in me! The story has so much heart, but it also has legs!

"Where Volcanoes Sleep"
Enjoy this performance of "Where Volcanoes Sleep" - the Act 1 finale where Olivia decides to run away from the foster home, the protestors rise up, Olivia's foster dad rages, and Isabel (spoiler alert) gets arrested.
Thanks to performers Ava Nicole Frances, Graciela Blandon, Sean Kenin Elias-Reyes and Freddy Quinonez.
"In This Beautiful Place"
Set outside a courthouse in El Paso, TX, Isabel and Guy are cleaning up after they've spent the afternoon handing out information about the community help line.
As they discuss the day's events, they are interrupted by a police officer who tells them to clear up. We see their relationship blossom as they both yearn for a "Beautiful Place".
