Let's bring this incredible show to life on more stages across the globe!
We love this show. The current, past and future cast members. The crew. The writers, composers, musicians, directors, producers.
We love you all! We love the theatre.
And (Alleluia! Alleluia!) we believe in the heart, power, artistry and passion of Olivia O Musical!
So, we're putting it out there, on World Theatre Day, when we celebrate the art and beauty of theatre making, that we are looking for sponsorship and ongoing funding to bring this show to theatres all over the world.
To not only bring opportunities for actors and performers and tech crews but to share Olivia O's message of hope and community and compassion for immigrants and refugees all over the globe. This story matters.
Want to support theatre? Here's how:
Support emerging shows like Olivia O Musical. It takes a lot of work, time and money to put on a new show like this one. Buy our merch from our online store. Donate to our fundraising campaign. Come to our shows. Become a show sponsor.
Share our story, like our posts, recommend us to others. We can build a community around the idea of supporting each other and celebrating new and emerging theatre. (If you have your own show, reach out, we're happy to co-promote!)
If you know a producer who could help fund and produce this show or is looking for powerful new stories to get out into theatres, please introduce us. We have a full producer information kit we could send them and we're ready to go!
Support a local play or musical by buying tickets or becoming a season subscriber. Your butt in a theatre seat counts a lot!
In one of the early scenes, Isabel, Olivia's aunt, promises her that, together, they will find "that beautiful place" where things will be better for her, where she doesn't have to fear gunshots, violence or loss of her home and family.
So that's what we wish for you this World Theatre Day. That you find that beautiful place.
And that theatre finds a place in your heart.
